Louisville, KY, January 11, 2008: During the seventeenth annual “Building America” Construction Awards of Excellence, The Associated Builders and Contractors, Inc. Kentuckiana Chapter recognized Architect, Donnelly / Lea Architecture + Design, pllc; Construction Manager, NUTI Builders, Inc.; Contractor, Spectrum Interiors and Owner, Carroll & Stone Insurance with a 2007 Award of Excellence in Exterior Design and the 2007 BKD President’s Award for Clearwater Commons, 4384 Clearwater Way, Lexington Kentucky. The annual awards program has established a tradition for recognizing the innovation, quality and vision of a winning project’s construction team. The multi-award winning, 23,000 sq. ft. mixed-use facility contains unique design elements including building massing to relate to a residential scale, earth tone exterior cladding system and cultured stone base.
