architectural & construction practice providing a complete scope of services
including programming, master planning, design, contract document preparation,
construction administration/management, interior design, & project
management.

Design Philosophy
The primary goal of D/L
Arc is to provide design solutions that reflect the building
and site context and the organizational and strategic goals of the client. D/L
Arc
makes a special effort to involve the client in the decision-making process
and actively encourage the client's desire to participate in the design
process. Each project begins by listening to the client's goals, needs, and
concerns, then remain focused on those desires from “Conception to
Collection.”

has been committed to its clients and the community through design excellence
and a fundamental concern for the quality of the built environment. A
successful project is based on communication with the client to develop a
clear understanding of project goals and coordination among project team
members and consultants to achieve those goals. This approach, combined with
periodic client reviews, ensures creative and innovative design solutions that
meet and surpass client expectations, adhere to established budgets, and meets
all project deadlines. Throughout the history of the firm, D/L Arc has been, and will continue to be,
committed to the fundamental principle of serving the clients well. This
commitment is reflected in the high percentage of repeat clients.
Experience & Services
Raised by a family of
architects, builders, & realtors, one can say that architecture & construction
is in Paul Lea's blood. Experience began at framing homes in high school
summers, to a successful architectural education at the University of Kentucky
& Lexington Community College, & now having designed &/or built over 300 homes
throughout Central Kentucky. Projects range from
bringing order to an entire community of offices or residential developments
to fulfilling a dream in a single family home.
Paul Lea, along with Nuti Builders, Inc., a nationally
recognized construction company, developed a revolutionary menu-based office
building delivery system (ReadiBuild).
Lea's experience is shared with local Architectural firms, Clotfelter/Samokar
& Sherman/Carter/Barnhart. Lea has joint ventured in several projects with other architects such
as KPA Architecture, PLLC & Kerry Lucas Architecture, PSC.
If desired, the client can limit the
involvement of D/L Arc services. Each scope of services can range

The D/L Arc
practice of architecture & construction is the transformation of a well defined need and
responsible budget into a creatively designed structure. Regardless of size or
scope, an architectural solution must satisfy the physical and aesthetic
